Richmond Mural Project + RVA Fashion Girl

One of the fun things about doing this blog and living in Richmond is that there are pretty much endless places to take pictures. You can find cool old buildings, adorable houses, and historic landmarks on almost every corner. Something new to Richmond's streets though are the amazing murals that you can find on buildings around the city. The Richmond Mural Project was started in 2012 to help create art in areas of need or on buildings that could use a little love. There are now over 50 murals all over the city in all shapes, sizes and styles and they have really helped turn RVA into even more of an art destination.

I love some of these murals so much and think this project is so great for the city so I have decided to add something new to the blog. Each week I will feature an outfit post with one of my favorite murals around RVA. This week I stopped by the GRTC Bus Depot, which was once home to the RVA Street Art Festival so there are tons of murals all around there. I will have to come back here, especially once the depot is open to the public again, because there are tons and tons of murals to see.

I look forward to exploring RVA in my search for all the murals and showing you all more of my outfits and this beautiful city. Stay tuned!!
