Woman Crush Wednesday #3: Carrie Bradshaw

This week I went with a gal who gives me lots of style inspiration, Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City. Carrie was never afraid to try a look, her style was always eclectic and bold and that's something I really love about her. My style may not be as girly and colorful as hers but I love her retro inspired looks and can really appreciate a girl who goes for it with her outfits and clearly doesn't care what anyone else thinks. My 2 biggest inspiration tips from her: never be afraid to rock a crop top or sky high heels for any occasion.

Woman Crush Wednesday #2: Audrey Hepburn

This week is a pretty typical one. Almost every girl wishes she was as chic as Audrey, including me. She can make skinny trousers and a tshirt look as chic as a Givenchy gown. I love her simple causal looks and menswear inspired style. Her famous costumes and real life looks have all become iconic over the years and I like many others will always be apart of the fan club.

Paint Splatter

If you have looked at my blog before you can see that I am clearly not a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl when it comes to casual wear. I wore this outfit on a recent day off for a couple of meetings and errands. I love this DVF wrap top, it's very comfortable but still looks dressy as are these Mink Pink satin pants. To add my necessary glam to this look I added some gold jewelry and red lips.

What's your go to casual look?

Outfit Details:
Top by Diane Von Furstenburg
Pants by Mink Pink
Coat by BDG
Shoes by Forever 21
Sunglasses by Marc by Marc Jacobs
Earrings by Betsey Johnson
Other jewelry from Clementine

Woman Crush Wednesday #1: Elizabeth Taylor

Most of my style inspiration comes from other women. From celebrities to bloggers to characters in movies or television, I find outfit inspiration from a large array of different women so I've decided to start a new weekly segment where I will feature a different woman who has inspired my style.

First up is probably my number 1 stye icon, Elizabeth Taylor.  It is because of her that I will always love a little over the top glamour. Fur, animal print, bejeweled turbans, cat eyes, statement jewelry, large sunglasses, I love it all because of her. When getting dressed in the morning I often think to my self, "What would Elizabeth Taylor do?".

Love Always, xoxo
