Memorial Day

Yesterday was Memorial Day so after a relaxing day at the pool with some beer and bbq I figured why not dress a little festive for dinner. I decided to go with this dress that I scooped up from the Peter Pilotto for Target collection since it was the perfect patriotic color scheme. I paired it with these cute Stuart Weitzman sandals that I can aleady tell will be a staple in my outfits this summer.

Hope you all had a relaxing and fabulous Memorial Day!!

Summer 2014 Outfit Inspiration

One of the things I really love about having a blog and recording my outfits is that I can look back and see how my style has changed and evolved over the years. This time last year my outfits were much more girlie and there was definitely a lot more color involved. Now I am loving the minimalistic, grown and sexy look. Neutrals, sleek lines, denim, athletic and 90's inspired looks, and of course cropped tops. Here are some looks that are inspiring me this spring/summer:

RVA Fashion Week

RVA Fashion Week was this past week so it was a week full of fabulous fashion and fun outfit planning. This is my second year as Digital and Social Media Manager so I wanted to make sure I dressed to impress for each show. This was my look for our first event last weekend, the Carytown Fashion Showcase. The shows took place at 4 different boutiques in Carytown so I wanted to make sure I was comfortable since I would be walking up and down the street in the sun. I planned my outfit around my extremely comfortable Calvin Klein heels so I decided to go with my new hi-waisted leopard print skirt and a long black sheer tunic. I will post more of my looks from RVAFW later this week!!
