Black Jumpsuit

I wore this outfit earlier this week to go to the VMFA to see the Tom Wessleman exhibit and it was awesome. I love dressing up a little when I go to the museum so I decided to go with this fabulous black leopard print jumpsuit. If I could live in jumpsuits I absolutely would. Most jumpsuits are super comfortable, easy to wear and make for a great statement look, that's why they are so great!!

Sun and Stripes

I wore this outfit after work the other day to go grab dinner at Alamo, one of my favorite spots to eat in RVA. I love this dress because it fits me really well and is soooo comfortable. I am also so happy to have found the perfect pair of everyday black summer wedges from shoemint.com!! These strappy suede wedges are very comfortable to walk in which is great for work and they look great with everything I own. Nothing better than a cute and comfy pair of shoes.

Yesterday was Memorial Day and I had the day off so I went shopping and out to dinner with my parents. It was a very nice and relaxing day. Memorial Day means the start of summer so I decided to finally wear my fabulous DVF wrap dress. I have been waiting years to find the perfect DVF wrap dress and so when this little baby went on sale I was so excited to scoop it up!! These shoes were also a great find and will be my new everyday summer heels.

Seeing Spots

I'm so happy it's finally warm because I can wear cute dresses like this one. It's no secret I love animal print, but I especially love different ones like the "dalmatian" print on this dress. For a pop of color I wore these funky JCrew heels that are surprisingly very comfortable. This was a fun and easy look for work.

Mothers Day

I wore this outfit last Sunday for Mother's Day dinner with my parents. I decided to dress up a little and pair this bright purple pencil skirt with my new peplum shirt. I topped the look off with my new Betsey Johnson leopard print heels that I am in LOVE with. Funny story with these, last summer I saw the same pair at Clementine and waited and waited for them to go on sale but some lucky gal scooped them up before me. I was so sad and never forgave myself for not getting the perfect pair of leopard heels. Well as I walk into Clementine the other day there they are again, so I didn't hesitate and bought them right away.  Lesson of the story: If you like something a lot right away don't think about it just get it!!

Hair Chop

 

So as you can see I cut my hair a little bit. I've always had shorter hair so about 4 years ago I decided to see if I could grow my hair out. I wanted to cut it after while but then decided I might as well grow it long enough so I could donate it. So last Friday that's what I did, I cut and donated 13 inches of my hair to Locks of Love and I feel great!!! I loved my long hair but I've never been great with styling my hair or doing crazy updos so shorter hair just suits my more. Plus I am on a quest to be "French girl chic" at all times so I think I am that achieving it more with this do. What do you all prefer, long hair or short hair??
